THE ROAD TO MARGARITAVILLE: SCREEN TEST - NICK (2009)

This was shot December 2009, just before we started writing and shooting the film. Ben Smith as Nick. Nick’s been on his own without anywhere to live, no money, barely any food, and minimal human interaction for a few months. Nick’s discouraged reaction to a pie is as baffling as it is just plain depressing, and we though was a good an entry-point as any for his character.
